Industry Veteran Finn Markmanrud Joins Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors’ Distribution Center Design Practice
With 35 years of experience in distribution center design, material handling automation, and project management, Finn Markmanrud joins Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors’ Consulting Practice as a Senior Consultant.
Boston, MA (February 3, 2021) – Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors, a leading supply chain consulting firm, is delighted to announce that Finn Markmanrud has joined the company as a Senior Consultant. In this role, Finn will be overseeing the firm’s well-versed distribution center design consulting team.
Mr. Markmanrud has 35 years of experience in supply chain with a strong focus on distribution center design and system implementation for some of the largest retailers in the world. He has spearheaded a variety of distribution transformation projects for clients worldwide, traversing the retail space and facilitating reconfigurations for major players such as Nike, TJX Companies and Ross Stores. His strengths include upgrading, expanding, and implementing material handling systems as well as deploying multi-technology distribution center solutions, with expertise that spans conveyor/sortation systems, WMS/WCS/WES software, and rigorous process improvement. In addition, Finn has a proven track record of successfully guiding companies through the change management process associated with the installation of automated systems and facility overhauls with minimal interruption.

Finn earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Kongsberg College of Engineering in Norway.
