Distribution Center Design Expert James Heskin Joins Commonwealth Supply Chain as Senior Consultant

Boston, MA (January 2, 2016) – Commonwealth, a leading supply chain consulting firm, is pleased to welcome James Heskin to the company’s team of experienced supply chain experts. Mr. Heskin is a highly accomplished distribution strategy and design expert. Over his career, he’s been involved in the design of over 100 distribution centers for many of America’s top corporations in omni-channel retail, distribution and manufacturing.

 

Previously a senior project engineer at St. Onge Company, Mr. Heskin will play a vital role in Commonwealth’s ongoing mission of providing its clients with the best the industry has to offer in distribution center process assessment and redesign, productivity improvements, facility layout and design, and warehouse management systems (WMS) selection and implementation.  Mr. Heskin is LEED AP+C Certified and holds MBA degrees from the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

 

A skilled consultant who is adept at monitoring rapidly changing distribution and manufacturing trends, Mr. Heskin champions long-term business-development and operational strategies that reduce cost, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Mr. Heskin has a career history of successful project management and overseeing cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle.
